I am an experimental writer. my practice encompasses both page and performance based work, and is informed by questions drawn from the fields of semiotics, psychoanalysis, phenomenology and literary theory.
my writing is a sustained enquiry into the relationships between consciousness, language and the world. I am trying to use writing to reshape language and, in doing so, open up the possibility of inventing new ways of understanding and being in the world.
I have lived in Montreal since 2006. before coming here, I spent a year studying in England, at Dartington College of Arts (which has since been incorporated into University College Falmouth). I am originally from Edmonton.
